Alan Aldridge, designer and illustrator, – “The Man with the Kaleidoscope Eyes” and  "His Royal Master of Images to Their Majesties The Beatles" – the title coined by John Lennon himself – approached Klasky -Csupo with a feature film idea about John’s youth. We have developed a pitch using characters drawn by John Lennon, Alan Aldridge and myself. Unfortunately Yoko Ono’s lawyers vetoed the project because they felt it was too dark in tone and depressing.
