Nosek served for 13 years as Vice President, Senior Development Designer and Director of Creative Services for Klasky Csupo, Inc. Developed a multitude of programming during tenure for Nickelodeon such as The Wild Thornberrys (premiering 1998), As Told by Ginger and Santo Bugito for CBS.
Reinvented McDonald’s main characters and served as artistic director for a direct to video animated series sold at McDonald’s franchises.
Before moving to Los Angeles worked as a Designer/Creative Director at Equity Marketing, Inc. in New York City for 5 years. Created promotional materials for licensed entertainment properties, orchestrated presentations and spearheaded production for kid’s meal programs, toys, packaging, gift items and premiums for various clients including Burger King, Arby’s, Disney, Fox Television, Pepsi, Warner Bros.
Between 1984 and 1988 served as a Development Artist and Design Supervisor at Transcom Media Animation Studio in NYC for the cult classic The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers, a 64 episode syndicated cartoon.
In the years between 1976 and 1984 as a freelance artist was involved in various film and graphic design projects. Worked as creative director for several trade show exhibition designs, representing the Hungarian Trade Commission (Hungexpo) in foreign countries. Designed film posters and record covers and published a comic strip in a magazine.
Nosek received his MFA from Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts in 1976. After establishing himself as an important voice in contemporary art, especially in video and performance, he moved to New York in 1984, and moved to Los Angeles in 1993.
Since 2011 he moved to the shores of the lake Balaton in his native country, Hungary.
